Southwest Seattle Oral Surgery

The mission of Southwest Seattle Oral Surgery is to improve community health by lessening the burden of dental disease in the community, spreading awareness of dental health practices, and improving attitudes towards dental treatment by delivering treatment that minimizes anxiety and pain. Southwest Seattle Oral Surgery is to be a place of growth fostered by relations of mutual respect and trust.

Beyond helping patients directly with their oral health and creating a positive work environment for growth for employees. Southwest Seattle Oral Surgery has also committed to giving back to the community through charitable donations and participation. Dr. Christie is partnering with Wellspring Family Services, Treehouseforkids.org, and Youthcare.org to make a donation for all surgeries performed in the clinic. Additionally, Dr. Christie is serving on the ambassador board for Treehouse.org. Say “Hi” to Dr. Calley Christie

Our caring oral surgeon is excited to help your family restore their oral health. Here is a little introduction from our dentist:

I was raised by a single working mother who was an art teacher until my loving stepfather entered my life around the age of 7. We were a low to middle-income family growing up in the Everett area. My home served as a halfway home for much at-risk youth growing up, from my foster brother who entered my life when I was 12 after being abandoned by his parents, to extended family members and friends who suffered from similar problems. I was able to see the tremendous difference it can make when you give people support.

As I grew up, I chose to pursue dentistry and later oral surgery as a career. I trained at major metropolitan hospitals that catered primarily to the impoverished at Mary Immaculate Hospital in New York, University Hospital in New Orleans, and Cook County Hospital in Chicago. I treated countless oral infections, broken jaws, and trauma at these hospitals where I saw the worst outcomes that can result from lack of access to care. I also saw people turn their lives around after getting proper care.
